Best Pool / Day Parties In Montreal

We get calls all of the time from guys asking what there is to do during the day in Montreal. Although our title might suggest Montreal has a vibrant pool/day party scene, we have some good and bad news concerning this. The bad news is unlike Vegas there really is no pool/ day parties in Montreal. The good news is you won’t have to stare at drunk roided’ out muscle heads all afternoon while trying to use your 10th grade French to pick up girls. Fortunately, Montreal has some cooler daytime activities ranging from girlfriend/ wife approved to fast pass to divorce.

We never recommend to stack the day with too many activities (One daytime activity at most). It’s one of the biggest bachelor party mistakes you can make. Here are the best Montreal daytime options:

Tamer Daytime Options

Axe Throwing

Canada is the real OG of axe throwing. Created by bored lumberjackers, axe throwing somehow became a popular bachelor party activity. A little competition always makes the bachelor party more fun.

White Water Rafting

What better to wake up from a wild night and a pounding headache than getting your adrenaline pumping by rafting in the Lachine Rapids. Your crew will hate you for making them roll out of bed early, but you’ll feel refreshed after getting soaked. By the time you’re done, it’s time to grab drinks at the next recommended spot.

Drinks At Terrace Bonsecours

After all of that physical exercise, it’s time to work out your liver in the Old Port. Head to Terrace Bonsecours, one of the best day drinking spots in Montreal. You’ll find plenty of hot, friendly French-Canadian girls to hang out with while you pre-game the night and have a great view of Montreal’s skyline.

Montreal Pool Parties

More Memorable Daytime Options

Bloody Mary Bar

Why have a hangover when you can chase the hair of the dog? Start your morning (or end your night) with a Bloody Mary bar and be served by two topless strippers. Add in some party girls to make sure you guys don’t just stand around and stare at each other. It’s sure to be a liquid breakfast the bachelor will never forget.

College Girl Pub Crawl

Be led around by two (or more) local, college hotties with low GPAs and lower aspirations to various bars. Don’t waste your time searching for cool hipster places you don’t care about. We can tailor the pub crawl however you would like. Just let us know how sloppy you are trying to get.

Ultimate Daytime Saturday Itinerary

To make your bachelor party as epic as possible, we’ve put together an Ultimate Daytime Saturday itinerary that combines some of the best Montreal bachelor party activities.

10 AM: Set The Tone

Start the morning right! Wake up to a Bloody Mary Bar with as many topless strippers and waiters as your heart desires and your eyes can handle. Mornings will never be the same again.

Montreal Day Party

12 PM: Keep The Buzz Going

Once the buzz starts wearing off from the Bloody Mary Bar, keep the day partying going by going on a pub crawl with two or more hot college girls. They’re hand picked for their great assets.

3 PM: Montreal Delicacy

If you come to Montreal, you have to try smoked meat. Don’t even bother going on a Saturday because the line can be up to two hours long. Skip the line and get Schwartz’s catered to your place to line your stomach for the night ahead. Throw in a midget or topless waitress to the mix to take it to the next level.

5 PM: The Jaw Dropper

Have two hot, local girls come over and deliver a private show of a lifetime . Even the hardest to impress guy in the group will be completely silent and the bachelor may even reconsider his upcoming marriage. We consider that a successful show.

Pool Party Montreal

6 PM: Havana’s Finest

Head to Montreal’s best cigar lounge, Stogies, to smoke some hard to find Cuban cigars while sipping on premium Scotch. You’ll immediately feel the chest hair sprouting.

8PM: The Last Supper

Down the street from Stogies is one of Montreal’s best supper clubs, Sousbois. Close out your extended afternoon and start the night with a great menu and more drinks. You can write the rest of the story from here…

Montreal Bachelor Party Review: Last Minute 17 Guys From Boston

The Setup

Last week we got a call from a group of 17 guys from Boston that were coming in last minute. The average age of the group was 29 years old. Most of the group had attended another bachelor party a few months earlier, while for some they were popping their bachelor party cherry. Little did they know, Montreal bachelor parties are unique. The group, however, was ready to make this bachelor party epic and were down to get as many strippers, midgets, bottles, and party girls as necessary to make the bachelor party memorable (Something we always love to hear.) There was one big problem though. The group didn’t read any of our tips on where to stay in Montreal (AKA Don’t stay anywhere not named Montreal) and booked an Airbnb 30 minutes away in Brossard. ‘UGE MISTAKE.

Montreal Bachelor Party Review

The Plan

The guys still wanted to stay at the house in Brossard despite us telling them that would ruin the bachelor party. They soon realized their mistake. When they arrived at the Airbnb, they found out that the place was not theirs as advertised, but the host and his family were staying upstairs. The guys immediately called us and last minute we were able to find them a place to stay. They immediately took an Uber back to civilization and never looked back (If we could only tell you what the house cleaners saw..). Here’s what they booked:

-Our (Gold) standard services: host, no cover, no waiting in lines, no tipping for entry, itinerary, no reservations

-House built specifically for bachelor parties in the perfect location. 4 floors, 5 bedrooms, and 4,500 square feet to get crazy

-4 hot, young, impressionable party girls to prevent the ultimate sausage fest

-Bloody Mary Bar

-Girl On Girl Show

-Midget to add to the fun

-VIP Table both nights, 14 bottles total

-Strip Club VIP one night, 3 bottles total

Montreal Bachelor Party Review

Execution

It was pretty crazy getting everything together the same week, but we made it happen. 17 guys is a pretty big group and what club wants to have a giant group of guys show up? None, but more bottles is always the solution. These guys wanted to get rowdy and they got 7 bottles each night. In terms of an itinerary, we try try not to put a lot of events in the same day and we like to spread things out throughout the weekend. For example, we made sure the Blood Mary Bar was towards the end of the weekend to wake the guys up a bit and we even kept it a secret from the bachelor. The guys originally didn’t have a girl on girl show booked, but they soon let their sleazy senses get to them and realized they needed something to make the bachelor party even more memorable.

Recap

Overall, the bachelor party went off without a problem and the guys had a blast. While we can’t get into details, the guys thanked us for saving them from almost making a massive mistake and told us they are already trying to make any excuse to their girlfriends and wives to come back.

Strategies For A Small Bachelor Party

If you are less than 10 guys, you are considered a small bachelor party group (We always say that 5-8 guys is the sweet spot for a bachelor party). There are definitely some pros and cons to a smaller group. On one hand, with a small bachelor party group, you have more options and it’s easier to decide on what you want to do and see. On the other hand, you’re always dealing with different ideas and opinions of what the bachelor party should look like. That’s why we’ve come up with three proven strategies for a successful small bachelor party group:

Get A Bigger House Than Expected

It’s funny how with a big bachelor party group, no one cares if they sleep on the couch. However, when you are with a small bachelor party group, everyone expects their own beds and rooms. It’s important to make the whole group happy because one guy can bring the fun to a halt by complaining all weekend. It’s best to get a bigger house than expected (such as our purpose built houses) so everyone has room to spread out and no one will moan about bunking up with B.O Bob.

Strategies Small Bachelor Party

One Daytime Activity

It doesn’t matter if you are a big or small bachelor party group, you should only plan one daytime activity at most. You came to Montreal for a vacation, not to be held down by a schedule. We suggest leaving most of the day unplanned so you can walk around and see the city. It’s the perfect cover up story for when you return home to the girlfriend or wife.

Small Bachelor Party Strategies

Supper Club

You’re a bachelor party so you are definitely going to head out and see what trouble you can get into. You are also going to want to experience some of the amazing food Montreal has to offer. A supper club offers the best of both worlds. Supper clubs like Sousbois are the perfect place for your group to start the night. It’s a great place to catch up and bond with everyone before they turn down the lights and the night gets crazy. Throw in some party girls and you’ll have yourself one epic night on your hands.

4 Reasons To Stay At A Connected Montreal House

Whether you realize or not, where you stay makes a big difference in making your bachelor party epic. You’ll be spending more time at your house than you initially realize. It’s where you and your crew will meet, recover, and pregame nights out. You’ll want to make sure where you stay is well located and has all of the amenities you need to make your bachelor party weekend memorable. Luckily for you, we have houses that were specifically designed to host bachelor parties. Here are 4 reasons to stay with Connected Montreal:

Location

There’s a joke in Montreal that says you’re always 10 minutes from downtown. Everyone knows that’s not true, especially in summer, due to construction, road closures, and tourists.  We know all of the best spots in Montreal when it comes to clubs and restaurants. All of our houses are either within walking distance or a short Uber ride away from all of the action. You’re in Montreal only for a weekend so you want to maximize your fun and might as well save time and money in the process. Whatever you do, don’t ruin your bachelor party before it even starts by staying off the island

Amenities

We know exactly what works and doesn’t work in bachelor party rental houses so we made sure our houses have it all. From pool tables to patio space to 65 inch flat screen TVs, we have everything your bachelor party needs to relax or get crazy. There’s no better way to recap the night before than playing a game of pool with a cold one. Little hard to do at the Holiday Inn Express.

4 Reasons To Stay Connected Montreal

Space

No matter the size of your bachelor party, it’s important to have space. Our houses were built with this mind. They each sleep at least 15 guys and have large, open living rooms for everyone to hangout in. There’s no way you can do this in a hotel where you might have to bunk up with another guy. Also, I’ve never met any girl that’s excited at the possibility of going to some no name motel in the South Shore. Mention the address of one of our houses and most girls already know them because they’ve been. Choose wisely.

4 Reasons To Stay Connected MontrealPrivacy

When you have a bachelor party, it’s important to make it unforgettable. One of our in house shows does the trick. Whether it’s topless beer pong, briskets and breasts, or a lesbian show, we still have yet to have one disappointed customer. All of this can take place in the privacy and comfort of one of our houses. No better way to start a night than boobies and booze.

The Best Summertime Montreal Events For Your Bachelor Party

Montreal has events going on every weekend during the summer to make up for its freezing winter (If it weren’t for summer, we would have been in South Beach long ago). Most events are located downtown or an Uber ride away so they are accessible no matter the size of your bachelor party. Here are the four best summertime Montreal events for your bachelor party:

Grand Prix (June 8-10)

Montreal’s Super Bowl takes places every second weekend in June. If you actually care about F1, most people don’t, the big race takes place on Sunday afternoon. Trials take place on Friday and Saturday.

Now, for the information people actually care about: the partying. The city comes alive starting Thursday with outdoor festivals and bars, but so do the prices. If you partake in the festivities, be ready to pay Vegas prices at any night club in the city. You’ll be rewarded though with one of the most fun weekends of the year. Everyone is here to p arty and have a great time so the atmosphere only adds to a bachelor party weekend.

Montreal Summer Bachelor Party

Jazz Fest (June 28-July 7)

Montreal’s Jazz Fest is the largest jazz fest in the world and for good reason. The festival runs for a week and a half with concerts from noon to midnight. It’s ideal for a bachelor party since most of the free concerts take place in Place Des Arts, which is at the heart of downtown and where you should be staying anyway (If you’re staying off the island, stop reading immediately).

Just For Laughs (July 11-July 29)

Just For Laughs has become a mainstay on Montreal’s summertime event calendar. The two and a half week festival brings in big names such as Kevin Hart, Jerry Seinfeld, and Trevor Noah. There’s also great shows, especially the Nasty Show, that is ideal for bachelor parties. There’s no better way to get the night started then going to a Just For Laughs show. If you are in town during JFL, you have to go to at least one show.

Just For Laughs Montreal Bachelor Party

Osheaga (August 3-5)

Canada’s answer to Coachella happens every first weekend in August and is a 15 minute Uber ride away from the downtown core. They have all sorts of different music from electronic to rap to rock from big headliners to no name bands. Osheaga is a great daytime activity for a bachelor party and it’s easy to snag day passes. Just leave the flower headband to your future ex-wife.

Where NOT To Stay For Your Bachelor Party In Montreal

Montreal is a pretty small city compared to Manhattan or Chicago, but it doesn’t mean every neighborhood is well suited for a bachelor party. We’ve been planning bachelors parties for over a decade now and we know how important being well located is to having an epic bachelor party weekend. Being in the perfect place close to all the bars and clubs not only saves you money on Uber rides and the headache of moving a large group of guys around, but lets girls know you’re not cheap (definitely sleazy) douchebags and they will want to come to your pad for an after party.

Here is where NOT to stay for your bachelor party in Montreal.

Anywhere Off Island

There is no way to sugar coat this one, but if you’re staying off the island, you’re a moron. It’s right up there with not getting bottles at the club. You came to party and have an epic weekend in Montreal, not St. Lambert. Besides ruining your weekend and making the bachelor party a huge sausage fest, staying off island becomes ridiculously expensive and a logistical nightmare taking Uber back and forth with 10 guys.

Good rule of thumb is if there is a bridge, burn it.

Where to stay for your Montreal Bachelors Party

Address doesn’t say Montreal? AVOID.

Postal code not in Montreal? AVOID.

If your Airbnb says that it is in Laval, Brossard, St. Lambert, Dorval, Pointe-Claire, or any place not named Montreal, GET A REFUND.

Easiest thing to know is stay DOWNTOWN. However, a lot of the honorable hosts fudge the location of their places. Use this guide to determine if it’s really a good location. Or if you want just give us a call and we will tell you in 10 seconds if it’s worth booking or not.

Where Not To Stay On Island:

Old Montreal

Old Montreal is a great place to stay if you were, for example, a couple in their 80’s taking in the French architecture. Luckily, you’re not. You are a bachelors party. This district of Montreal is EXTREMELY touristy during the day and is considered more family friendly.  Walk around the area before you go to a supper club, fine, but take the party elsewhere.

Old Montreal Boundaries:

-North: St. Antoine Street                           West: McGill Street

Gay Village

If you walk far enough east on St.Catherine, it turns into the gay village and if you walk into the strip clubs in that part of Montreal, you won’t see women stripping. It’s easy to see why this is the wrong area to stay for a bachelor party…

Gay Village Boundaries:

Boutique Hotel

We get groups every year that book a suite or block of rooms at any hotel and end up getting kicked out. Why? Because a lot of hotels, boutique especially, don’t allow bachelor parties. They’re great for a weekend get away with your future ex-wife, but awful for bachelor parties. Don’t worry though, we’ve vetted all hotels that we work with and make sure they are bachelor party friendly. Just use as it chance to scout out places to stay on your return trip to Montreal for your divorce party.

Anywhere Outside Downtown Core

There’s a lot happening in Montreal during the summer…but that brings traffic. The joke in Montreal is that you are always 10 minutes from downtown, but everyone knows that is not the case. There are festivals every weekend that close roads and construction detours all over the city. Who wants to waste hours waiting in traffic when you can be making it rain at Kamasutra within minutes? Unlike other big cities in North America, where it costs a fortune to be anywhere near downtown, in Montreal, you can be centrally located and have it be affordable (Check out what houses we have available)
