The Best Montreal Bars for Good Drinks and Better Looking Girls

Some of you have graduated from pounding pitchers at a local dive bar and would prefer a more refined way to have a pre-dinner cocktail. We have already warned you about the dangers of drinking too hard and too fast, so we decided to make a list of the best Montreal bars. These establishments serve a killer drink and are populated with some of the best looking women in the city. Head to these Montreal bars for your bachelor party and start the night off right.

Philemon[image_frame width=150 height=150 pattern=”dotted” align=”right”]https://connectedmtl.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Montreals-best-bars-Philemon.jpg[/image_frame]

Located in the heart of the Old Port, Philemon not only caters to a good looking crowd, but they also have a pretty extensive wine and champagne list for any aspiring wine connoisseurs. The layout is slick with big windows that face beautiful Saint Paul Street. They also have a great happy hour (5-7), so if you’re in town during the week we highly recommend you check this place out.

Address – 111 Rue Saint-Paul Est

Big in Japan [image_frame width=150 height=150 pattern=”dotted” align=”right”]https://connectedmtl.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/montreals-best-bars-biginjapan.jpg[/image_frame]

Don’t confuse the bar with the restaurant of the same name further south of Saint-Laurent. This is a low key establishment where you won’t find pumping music nor packed crowds. It’s a dimly lit “speak-easy” that has a great selection of beer, sake, and Japanese scotch. They have a food menu for those who want to eat while they drink. This place is recommended to the group that wants a quiet venue where they can drink in peace before the start of the night’s debauchery. This place is suitable for smaller groups.

Address – 4175 Boulevard Saint-Laurent

Candi Bar[image_frame width=150 height=150 pattern=”dotted” align=”right”]https://connectedmtl.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/Montreals-best-bars-candy-bar.jpeg[/image_frame]

This is a bar where you probably won’t enjoy the drinks as they all have a lot of sugar in them (bring an insulin shot), but you will find a lot of girls. Candi Bar is a theme bar and is catered to the Plateau crowd (eclectic). You have a good chance of standing out, as there aren’t many bachelor parties in this neck of the woods. This will garner your group some much needed attention that will help in picking up a pack of local French girls.

Address – 1148 Av. Mont Royal E.

Furco[image_frame width=150 height=150 pattern=”dotted” align=”right”]https://connectedmtl.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/01/montreals-best-bars-furco.jpeg[/image_frame]

Furco is the newest bar on our list. Upon walking in, you get the feel that the place is cool, expertly designed with an industrial feel. There is an extensive drink menu and, more importantly, lots of ladies. Remember, none of these bars are “crazy” places, they are merely bars where you can get a quality drink, talk up some ladies, and kick off your bachelor party weekend.
