While Montreal’s brunch game is strong, its boozy brunch scene is another story… Chasing after a good boozy brunch is like finding a unicorn, they just don’t exist. Either you have good mimosas (man-mosas if you are one of those guys) or incredible food. Unlike New York or other cities on the East Coast, pairing them together still hasn’t made it this far north.
Luckily, Montreal has some cooler daytime options beyond what you normally would do back home. The bachelor party weekend can be a whirlwind so we recommend choosing at most two of these daytime activities:
Tame Daytime Options
Go-Karting
Every bachelor party needs to get the competitive juices flowing. Going to the go-kart track is a great way to try and bet your way to free drinks from your buddies. There is no greater satisfaction than watching the bachelor wipe out…Hopefully the wedding isn’t next weekend.
Jet Boating
Jet boating is certainly not for every bachelor party, but if you want to quickly cure your hangover by getting splashed in the face by water on the Saint Lawrence River, this is the option for you. You’ll be ready for lunchtime drinks by the time you’re done with jet boating.
Rooftop Drinking
Summertime in Montreal is made for drinking outside. So why not make it scenic and drink on rooftops in Old Montreal? You’ll have a great view of Montreal’s skyline and it’s the best place to day drink. We recommend checking out the rooftop on the William Grey hotel or Terrace Place D’Armes.

You’re going to visit Schwartz’s for smoked meat anyway so save yourself time and hassle by having it catered to you. Throw in some topless waitresses and lunch just became way more entertaining.

Once you’ve lined your stomach with smoked meat, have the girls jump into the fun and play beer pong with you and your boys. You’re shot percentage will be worst than Charles Barkley’s three point percentage.

10 AM: Hangover Cure
You had a crazy Friday night, but your buddies are aggressively waking you up to go jet boating at 9 AM. You’re miserable until the first wave smacks you in the face and you suddenly feel invincible. Bring on day drinking.
12:30 PM: Drinks With A View
You and the boys decide to head to Terrasse Sur L’Auberge to start the day drinking marathon. You switch to vodka sodas at the William Grey and decide that shots are a good idea at Terrasse Place D’Armes.
4 PM: Lunch Is Served
By the time you reach your bachelor pad, the girls and Schwartz’s is waiting for you. The group is so hungry that they don’t even notice the topless girls serving them until later… Lunch will never be the same again.
5 PM: Pre-Game
The guys combined their Brisket And Breasts lunch with topless beer pong to start pre-gaming the night ahead. Let’s just say the girls made sure the guys were nice and buzzed by the time they head to dinner.
7:30 PM: Supper Club
Supper clubs are special to Montreal. The group starts off with a delicious set menu dinner by an acclaimed chef at Sousbois before the lights dim and the bottles come out. The guys had to be dragged out of the club.
