24 May The Best Summertime Montreal Events For Your Bachelor Party

Montreal has events going on every weekend during the summer to make up for its freezing winter (If it weren’t for summer, we would have been in South Beach long ago). Most events are located downtown or an Uber ride away so they are accessible no matter the size of your bachelor party. Here are the four best summertime Montreal events for your bachelor party:

Grand Prix (June 8-10)

Montreal’s Super Bowl takes places every second weekend in June. If you actually care about F1, most people don’t, the big race takes place on Sunday afternoon. Trials take place on Friday and Saturday.

Now, for the information people actually care about: the partying. The city comes alive starting Thursday with outdoor festivals and bars, but so do the prices. If you partake in the festivities, be ready to pay Vegas prices at any night club in the city. You’ll be rewarded though with one of the most fun weekends of the year. Everyone is here to p arty and have a great time so the atmosphere only adds to a bachelor party weekend.

Jazz Fest (June 28-July 7)

Montreal’s Jazz Fest is the largest jazz fest in the world and for good reason. The festival runs for a week and a half with concerts from noon to midnight. It’s ideal for a bachelor party since most of the free concerts take place in Place Des Arts, which is at the heart of downtown and where you should be staying anyway (If you’re staying off the island, stop reading immediately).

Just For Laughs (July 11-July 29)

Just For Laughs has become a mainstay on Montreal’s summertime event calendar. The two and a half week festival brings in big names such as Kevin Hart, Jerry Seinfeld, and Trevor Noah. There’s also great shows, especially the Nasty Show, that is ideal for bachelor parties. There’s no better way to get the night started then going to a Just For Laughs show. If you are in town during JFL, you have to go to at least one show.

Osheaga (August 3-5)

Canada’s answer to Coachella happens every first weekend in August and is a 15 minute Uber ride away from the downtown core. They have all sorts of different music from electronic to rap to rock from big headliners to no name bands. Osheaga is a great daytime activity for a bachelor party and it’s easy to snag day passes. Just leave the flower headband to your future ex-wife.
