The best man is simultaneously the event organizer and one of the guests. That tension is the core problem. Every minute spent managing logistics — checking in with the club, chasing the group, figuring out transport, troubleshooting a reservation — is a minute not spent being present for the weekend.
The math of managing 12 people in a foreign city: Getting 12 people dressed, fed, and to a venue on time requires herding, communication, and constant adjustment. Doing that while also enjoying yourself is not realistic. Someone has to be the logistics person, and that role usually falls to the best man by default.
Things go wrong on every trip. The restaurant is late seating the group. The club's VIP line has a miscommunication. A Uber doesn't show. Two guys want to go somewhere else at midnight. Connected Montréal's concierge coordination is included in every package. There is no separate service fee on top of the package price. You're not paying a concierge day rate or an hourly fee — the coordination cost is baked into the per-person price.
In our line-item cost breakdowns, concierge coordination typically accounts for $60–$150 per person depending on the package tier — comparable to hiring a logistics coordinator for a day. The value is disproportionate to the cost, particularly for the best man, who would otherwise spend 20–30 hours on pre-trip planning and logistics management on the weekend itself.

A weekend concierge is most valuable for groups of 8 or more doing a full 2–3 night trip, especially from out of town. For smaller or simpler trips, you may not need the full service.

Small groups are easier to move, easier to coordinate, and have more flexibility to improvise. You can manage a single club reservation and a dinner booking without professional support.
One-night visits
If you're doing a single evening in Montreal — flying in and out the same weekend — the logistics load is manageable. One club, one dinner, one transfer. That's a reasonable DIY job.
Groups who already live in Montreal
Local groups know the city, have relationships, and can handle logistics in a familiar environment. The concierge value is primarily about city knowledge and vendor relationships.
Our team is available throughout the weekend and handles key coordination points — arrival, venue entry, transport between spots. For Signature tier packages, a dedicated host accompanies the group through the full evening. For Essential and Premium tiers, we're reachable and actively managing behind the scenes, with on-the-ground presence at key moments.
We use a direct WhatsApp or phone line. The best man has a single contact — not a ticketing system or an email thread. For anything time-sensitive on the night, you text or call and we respond immediately.
Yes. Spontaneous additions — a late-night restaurant, a venue change, someone wanting to extend the evening — are part of what a concierge handles. We're not locked into a rigid script. If the group wants to change direction at midnight, we adapt.
We handle it. Having an established relationship with the venue means we can get a problem resolved in a way that an unknown group walking in off the street cannot. This is one of the most concrete advantages of coming through a concierge rather than booking directly.

I was trying to plan a bachelor party and having trouble bringing it all together and finding time to book reservations. I called Connected Montreal and Oren gave me a ton of options and had us set up with a full itinerary that fit our group right away. Definitely would use this service as the weekend was awesome and would not have compared if we tried to plan ourselves.
