WHAT TO LOOK FOR IN A BACHELOR PARTY HOUSE
By Connected Montréal · Mar 12, 2026 · 05 MIN read
In a bachelor party, everyone wants different things. But there are four features that are absolutely non-negotiable for any group house.
Quick Summary
- Always verify real bed count; sofa beds and pull-outs should be backup, not primary sleeping.
- Properties should sleep at least 16 comfortably with capacity for up to 24 guests.
- Vet the property owner in advance to avoid mid-weekend eviction over noise complaints.
Number Of Beds
Every weekend we see it: a group says they're fine with some guys on the couch, but when they arrive, everyone wants their own bed. Always check if the house has sofa or pull-out beds as backup. Our properties sleep at least 16, and can comfortably handle up to 24.
Location
We can't stress this enough. Montreal is smaller than people think — all the action happens on a few streets. Staying central is the only way to do a Montreal weekend properly. Whatever you do, don't stay off the island. It's the single biggest mistake we see.
Large Living Room
You'll spend more time at the house than you think. Between being hungover, changing clothes, and hanging out, there's a lot of downtime. You don't want to be shuttling between hotel rooms — you want one big space with comfortable couches where the whole crew can regroup.
Cool Owners
We've heard horror stories about owners who lied about their property or decided mid-weekend they didn't want a bachelor party staying there. That's why we created our own properties — you can get as rowdy as you want because we built them for exactly that purpose.
